EthCo - Make a difference

EthCo

EthCo presented two workshops at the Townhouse in Inverness on the 24th May.  Each workshop was well-attended, with the afternoon workshop particularly popular.   Dave Whitelaw outlined the aims of EthCo and delivered a comprehensive view of the EthCo Interdisciplinary Tasks, highlighting the scope for flexibility in achieving the Goals, through the use of imagination and collaboration with the students.

Dave also introduced the EthCo website, the Exemplar materials which are available on the website and the aim of EthCo to have teachers share their achievements and work with others via the Resources section of the website.

In conjunction with Morag Pendry of Co-operative Education Trust for Scotland, the delegates were appraised of the resources available through the EthCo and CETS' websites to assist with preparation, progress and completion of the tasks.

The presentations were well received and several delegates expressed their enthusiasm for EthCo and the way in which the Interdisciplinary Tasks and materials are presented.
