This showcase event marks the official launch of EthCo and the tasks as significant educational resources with an ethical message. The event also awarded the winners of the EthCo logo and song challenge.
The event, which was held at the City Halls, Glasgow, invited all the participating schools to attend, and where an entry had been made in the ethCo logo or song competition, to bring along the pupils involved.
After the initial introductions and presentations on EthCo, the prize ceremony took place and the audience were treated to the range of excellent quality logo entries, along with all the submitted songs performed by the pupils themselves.
The performances were given with great gusto and the day concluded with the presentation of prizes to all the entrants, and of course to the winners.
In the closing remarks, the pupils and staff were thanked for their enthusiastic involvement and asked to look out for the next challenge.
