7. Climate Change and the MDGs
The content of this task can be adapted to suit any Curriculum for Excellence Level.
This task sets out to research the debate on the reasons for climate change and the effects of climate change world-wide, with particular regard to the developing world. Research and discussion will take place on natural and man-made causes, along with the steps currently being taken to lessen the effect of our impact on the planet. Consideration will then be given to the effect and implication of the changes on the achievement of the Millennium Development goals. The task culminates in a debate-style presentation on these issues.
